SNM are proud of what they did, their low cunning nature made big problem for Somalis all over the world. Now isaaqland is begging for a UN seat. Once they had Barre dependent on them for Aid money they could control the moment they cut it off. Classic NATO move. Rope Barre in with financial promises and tell him more is coming. Let Barre increase the intensity of the fighting in the North (1988 bombardment). Once the Somalis see how brutal Barre is they will turn away from Somali nationalism and return to clanism. Then move on to the final stage, by cutting off Barre's legs and bring the whole thing down. Somalis now have no country, no home and no money. Somalia destroyed. Mission accomplished.
