Dahabshiil made the particular ad to attract costumars from the Somali Region in Ethiopia, but the ad was produced in Somaliland with actors. They had some difficultties with doing the original Dhaanto as it is danced in Wardheer.

Qodax, I know couple of sub clans in the Northwestern of Somalia who do play good dhaanto. They must had adopted way before Bare's regime.
