NGONGE Posted May 7, 2004 Sweet girl, my explanation was not a joke, sis. The language is Latin. It’s an extract from some famous Roman’s writings. The printing press used to use it to work out the sizes of paper. Then when typing and word processing arrived, they also used it for that. If you open many word processing templates or even web pages you’ll come across that language. It’s exactly like English and it fills the same space English words and letters would fill. They use it to show you how the page would look like if you typed your own words in, but instead of typing fffffffff, or, mmmmmmmm, they decided to type those Latin verses.
