N.O.R.F Posted September 3, 2007 Che and Dabshid, stop hating on the brother. He is Somali. Is the 6th best 5km runner in the world. It was a tough field and he did very well considering the circumstance. Mise he should be back in London sitting on a park bench? I heard something interesting the other day, no idea of it is true. I heard Ethiopia is the highest point on earth, so athletes who train there can handle any condition (although they were struggling as well) Ever seen a reer Ceerigaabo run? Faarax-Brawn Posted September 3, 2007 ^Che,Walle you are as cynical as they come. Give the brother a break & Congratulate him. Every athlete has to proof him or herself. Great Athletes like Hesham Elgouroge & Haile Gabresalasie could ever win anything, theyu were number fives & sixes. For instance before Gabre ever won anything, the Kenyan runners would whoop his 4foot a$$ in every meet. But he never gave up &with time, Kenyans didnt even come close to beating him. It almost became an national obsession to beat Gabre. They put alot of money on the 5K and as a result lost medals in the other events. Congrats to Farax(Its about time the name farax was associated with positiveness anyway)
