Mashallah amazing thread. It is weird how we down play the importance of eating balanced diet. Especially making sure you eat good amount of fruits daily. Usuaully if I eat the normal meals I just eat snacks...I am not good with fruits. But, inshallah I gotta change that habit..

These are excellent qualities for bariis. I always knew that bariis had health benefits but it was never confirmed until now. Next time I order chinese, I will say "Pleaze give me mo rice".
