KDR Posted July 21, 2008 Hello everyone! I'm doing a special project in which we need a few small stones or rocks from Somalia. Just ordinary stones from 1.5 cm to 2.5 cm which you can pick up form anywhere. We are willing to cover shipping to the US and related expenses. If you are in Somalia or you know someone who speaks English and could possibly help, please contact me via PM or e-mail me at kdr@idlespace.net. This is not a scam or anything... we are a non-profit organization and we are really just looking for a few small, ordinary Somali stones or rocks. Thanks! If you are really interested, please PM me or give me an e-mail. Yes, DHL will take stones. All you really have to do is to pack a few small rocks into an envelop and send it to us. Like I've said, it could be just rocks next to your house. On a serious note, KDR , how will these stones help you and what is the purpose of your special project? The purpose of our project is to create an symbolic altar for world peace. We would like to wish for peace and happiness in Somalia along with other places in the wold, that is all. The altar will be in India, so please don't hold the fact that I'm in the US against me. In fact, all I am doing is to gather the stones and send them to Asia; the altar will not be in the US.
