Ameen Posted February 3, 2008 ^^^Sorry I cant ready Somali (I know, its shameful) Question: Have you ever been guilty of helping your friend out? I mean like writing sweet poetry and handing it over to him so he can claim it as his own when he hands it over to his wife. I do this sometimes to help homeboy out when his big mouth gets him into touble. Is this acceptable...?
Cara. Posted February 3, 2008 Liin balbeelmo = grapefruit It's okay to write poetry for your friend, as long as the sentiments are his. But it would be better if he found a more honest way of expressing himself. Do you know one person who you like one day and despise the next?
Ameen Posted February 3, 2008 Well, not really. If I despise them then I try to keep my distance cause I cant hide my emotions from appearing on my face. Do women feel a greater degree of pressure to get married than men?
Centurion Posted February 3, 2008 Edit In most cultures yes, mainly because there's a virtual window of age where its deemed a woman should be getting married in (usually late teens- mid twenties in ours), men of course can get married whenever- although ppl start talking after 35 Are you a dreamer, or do you just get on with life? Nephissa Posted February 3, 2008 I'm a dreamer, there's always that "one" thing missing that I dream about. Originally posted by Ameen: Do women feel a greater degree of pressure to get married than men? Oh yes, we feel pressured on every front. It used to be "Nephy! When are you gonna find yourself a nice man??" Now it's "Where are my grandchildren??" I finally gave up trying to get my mom to stop. I have a younger brother though. I'm hoping he gets married and have kids soon, so she'll get off my a$s. My question: I want to know whether girls think feet are important or not? hence the saying sexy from head to TOE. Al-Muminah Posted February 3, 2008 Salaama alaykum, Feet scare me and disgust me! Keep your shoes, or socks on at all times (except when making wudhu, taking a shower, taking a bath etc.)! Seriously, feet smell and they remind me of fungus. My question: How do you keep your concentration in salaah? This has become really hard for me these past few days. Ameen Posted February 3, 2008 Increase your knowledge of the religion. Go and study the Quran and learn the meaning behind the Ayaats you chose to recite. And remember to seek refuge with Allah before prayer, while you're in the state of prayer and after you complete your prayer. Question: What is one topic you will never talk to your parents about? Malika Posted February 3, 2008 ^The past,am hauted by the mistakes and the what if's... Is there a meaning to life?
Ameen Posted February 3, 2008 Yes, worship Allah alone and prepare for your meeting with Him who created you. I heard a man say, "women talk way too much".... Is that statement correct? Do women talk too much?
Al-Muminah Posted February 3, 2008 Salaama alaykum, Firstly, jazakallah for the tip Ameen. I think the more correct statement would be, ''women are more prone to gossip than men''. Which is true, our own Prophet (pbuh) said this himself (more women will be in hell than men). Where is your favourite place in your home?
Malika Posted February 3, 2008 @Ameen's question; Its a stereotyping statement, but saying that women express themselves verbally far better then men..it doesnt mean we are chatterboxes it just means we are good verbal communicators. @Al-Muminah's Q; My living room, love those soft furnishings. What annoys you most of other peoples personalities?
