Deeq A. Posted June 15, 2019 Two loud blasts were heard in Mogadishu, the Somali capital on Saturday, as the police set up extra checkpoints in the city to avert Al-Shabaab attacks. The first attack occurred after a car packed with explosives detonated at a main security checkpoint near the country’s parliament compound. Minutes later, a second blast took place in the vicinity of K-4 junction, close to the security checkpoint leading to the city’s airport.
