Abdinasir Kadawo Posted February 21, 2009 With coordinates of 11°17'07"N 51°04'35"E it's located eastern end of Golis Mountain range and about 60 kilometres south of Cape Guardafui, which is the apex of Horn Of Africa. Further more Baargaal was in the news when USA launched missile attack against vicinity of it a year or so ago.

That part of the range is called Buuraha Caleed or simply Cal. Then there are Cal Madoow, Uur Caleed etc. They are All Part of the Golis mountain range. However, many indiviul mountains have their specific names. The three most fomous are indeed Su'rat (Highest peak in Somalia), Baxaya (Second highest) and Daallo.
