The name Timbaktu meant 'in the middle of no where' now it means in the middle of everywhere. Arabs have worked all their lives so places like Somalia cannot extract their oil. Sudan split because of oil. Ethiopia remained backward and poor because of water and oil. As things stand right now oil will kill what is left of Somalia.
