Baluug Posted March 7, 2008 So white people in England feel threatened by the ever-growing immigrant presence. But rather than oppose it, they should embrace it and look at the benefits of immigration. And the fact of the matter is that immigration is desperately needed in the G7 countries, as they will help fill the void caused by declining birth rates and the baby boomers who are beginning to retire now. As well, the immigrant families are the ones who push their children further in regards to education and the next 20 years will see a lot more first-generation Brits, Canadians, Americans etc. from "non-white countries", in high-level professional jobs.
