Actually copyright is automatic upon creation of an original work of authorship .. registering your copyright would help in an Intellectual property infringement case but it is not necessary. you just have to be able to prove you are indeed the original author and you are granted exclusive right to your work in the U.S for the lifetime of the author + 70 years. it can be inherited by your children just like normal property until it falls into public domain. read up on Copyrights, patents and trademark .. it is quite interesting Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
