Eid Mubaarak

Jun 4, 2019 Eid Mubarak☪Shawal 1,1440

It’s that time of the year when we celebrate Eid-al-fitr after the
end of Ramadan—-a month of of fasting for the worshipers closer to
Allah—our protector and sustainer—-with a day of joyous prayer, feast
and celebration with family members and friends.

As we reflect, what we have accomplished during the month of
Ramadan—-fasting, long nights of sleep deprivation and prayers and
giving away to charities and house of worships, but we should thank to
Allah for giving us another chance to be those who follow to his
commands and guidance, to be closer to him.

Eid-Al-fitra is also a time for forgiveness. Please reach out to your
relatives and friends, especially those who you are holding a grudge
against and renew your relationship with them. How should we expect
Allah to accept our repentance if you are still having hard feelings
or grudges towards one another.

May Allah, the merciful, forgive our sins and and accept our Ramadan.
Because we’re only human beings, we’re not angels. Our deeds alone are
not enough to get a pass to Paradise.

May this Eid bring peace, happiness, satisfaction and prosperity to
all of us, especially those who are living in our homeland. Lately,
the Somaliland people are suffering because of economic hardship due
to run away inflation, greedy merchants who are gauging prices even
during the holiest days of Islamic calendar, and a government that
lacks regulations to crack down on these unscrupulous merchants.

Please accept my warmest greetings to you and your family on the
occasion of Eid-Al-Fitr.

May Allah accept our good deeds and hard work during the month of Ramadan.

May Allah shower you and your families with his blessings.

☪☪Ameen☪☪

Thanks,
