General Duke Posted June 8, 2009 Maybe you don’t understand the definition of a hero. These men were my hero’s, Zidane inspired me by the sheer brilliance of his game, it went beyond a game and was like watching a beautiful play or a painting.
General Duke Posted June 8, 2009 As for Ghandi, his greatness was in the delivery of his message, that India should peacefully take of the yoke of colonial British rule. He brought a sense of dignity to his people. A highly educated and intelligent person he took of his western clothes and lived with the poor. A unifying figure who continues to inspire millions people. “Mahatma” or the great soul’s strategy was employed by a number of later leaders most notably Martin Luther King. Afarafat as NGOONE states was controversial yes, and the western media demonized him as a terrorist, corrupt and sinisterly Muslim and Arab. But Arafat or Abu Ammar as he was known by his devotees was a man of great stature Khalid Mashaal of Hamas described him as the immovable mountain of Palestine
SayidSomal Posted June 8, 2009 WHAT - No Cabdullahi Yusuf Axmed 'Yey'?? This is BS man - you if you want to have any credibility left - you would have MR Yey as your hero. Absolutely Preposterous!!!
General Duke Posted June 8, 2009 ^^^If family memmbers were included, then My mum, dad & Uncles [inclduing Yusuf would be in the list]. Come on use your brain adeer.
SayidSomal Posted June 8, 2009 ^^LOOOOOL@family members if i had famous uncle like you, i wouldn't have chosen persona non gratas. that is if my uncle was the lion himself
General Duke Posted June 8, 2009 ^^^That made no sense adeer, now add to the thread or continue with the nonsense.
SayidSomal Posted June 8, 2009 oh - thanks for the choice. i'll continue with my nonsense thank you... now - what made you give up your original hero - i thought you were hardcore 'YUSUFITE' don't tell the clan wailers and secessionist made you gave up your hero. there is change in the air tonight, oh lord, i can feel it air, oh lord..... General Duke Posted June 8, 2009 The legend ina Yusuf Yey Lool. The nonsense continues. As you can tell this list is about my hero’s and no Somali’s were included and no family members as stated above. Yusuf is a legend and the utter failure of your likes has not only vindicated him but also shown that indeed he was right and justified by the actions he took. There are many works in progress to honor his heroic long service to the Somali people. That’s an entirely different thread topic that will be coming to SOL soon insha Allah. SayidSomal Posted June 8, 2009 the utter failure of your like i'll take that as friendly fire! but don't do that again. is the man your hero or not ? if he is as i am sure you'll claim - then you committed unpardonable act but not posting his jackal like picture (see above)on the top of your first post. BTW - you did not state that in the title that your heros are all foreigns as if you didn't have any in yourbackyard. no amount of backpuddleing would give you a grace with YUSUF so be humble and ask for Yusuf's forgiveness for your traitorous act. Resistance Posted June 8, 2009 Hero's indeed. Wheather the herosim in precieved or not does not matter, the vast majority look up to these individuals and sure as hell we need Somali in the mould of this. Someone respected by all ( at least publicly ) Shariif held that mantle very berifly.
