Libaax-Sankataabte Posted October 30, 2010 Glen Beck must be crying in his office today.
Prometheus Posted October 30, 2010 How many people attended the event? Good to see Yusuf Islam in the mix. Too bad I'm not in Virginia. Would've driven up to DC with my nephew and niece.
Cara. Posted October 30, 2010 Estimates are at about 150K. It was entertaining, but like all liberal rallies the sheepish self-deprecation did not exactly make for rousing sloganeering. "WILL THIS HELP?"
Che -Guevara Posted October 30, 2010 ^Does it really matter?
N.O.R.F Posted October 31, 2010 How could you guys near the east coast not attend? Just reading about it and seeing some the placards is hilarious. Kudos to Stewart and Colbert. Tonight's shows should be good lol Che, the event will bring about world peace.
The Zack Posted October 31, 2010 SOLers, I didn't know Stewart had this many viewers from overseas. Norf, DC is about six hours drive from where I currently reside, five hours if I drive crazy LOL, but why would I be driving to a rally that has no clear intentions at all. Just like Beck's recent canatarabaqash, this rally didn't have any meaning at all. P.s. I love the Daily Show with John Stewart!
N.O.R.F Posted October 31, 2010 Zack, The meaning is in the title coupled with satire. Some of the statements they made were funny. Check theguardian.co.uk for statements and pics. Ps you should have driven maan.
The Zack Posted November 1, 2010 ^LOL@you should have driven.. War meeshu ma dhawa plus like I said before the two comedians were just trying to be funny in person as they have been on TV for too long wax kale ma jirin.
