Nubian-Queen Posted March 13, 2004 i saw the movie and the singer name is Ali Farka Toure..he is very popular in his country..kind of a Justin Timberlake in US..lol but anyway there is a lot of african artist so unknown but yet wit such a talent..Angelique Kidjo, Youssou N'dour or Baaba Maal.. african music is print wit such love, hate , pain and joy in the mean time dat there is no other music dat can compare to it..anyway nice taste Socrates.
