OK, I see what you are basing your arguments on, Xanthus, but I've got to say your original statements sounded like gross generalisations.

LMAO @ "waan soo foorfoorsanya, or maadaaxan duulka kuu soo xooqaayah"!

^^Why do you think i don't know how to pray, I just told them not to look around while praying, shout as if their the imam and not to lift their hands up in the air and rock back when they saamiicaalaahu liiman xaantuu.

see! ask Jac, it is so common!

^^ Loool! OMG...OMG...lol. That's hilarious. They should make a film about your visit! I would pay good money to listen to all the conversations you had while there. :D

Bless you.

Xan, didnt say you didnt know how to pray. I just cant bring myself to correct people (or my opinion on what is the correct way of prayer). Scared they may react the wrong way or something.

^^^^Aaliyah, Go there first then report back, as for changing my story :D , well what can I say they taught me a lot of things (sadly not about the deen)....for example I can do the Somali faadi: sitting and balancing with just my feet, and washing clothes/ dishes in Daarqsaal in that position (its harder than it sounds, almost as hard as sitting over hole called the toilet), they do have washing machines but its not like ours, you have daami with water, add the washing powder and the clothes all in one place, its too much work, better you just wash it with your hands.

Oh and AAliyah take your sun glasses, the sun is blinding there, but be aware you will be called aafra indoolee, :D so you have more to worry about than my figures reaching you.

^^my new body guard! haha. Ngonge I've seen your somali over in the Politics section, so maaxaad kuu qoosli?

Jac: let me write it in english for ya, I'm sure its better than my somali ""Sami'Allahu liman hamidah" (Allah hears those who praise Him)"Rabbana lakal hamd." (Our Lord, praise be to You).

Better??

p.s Don't day waaxab kuumaan baarin
