Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted May 13, 2019 By the way, those two poor gabdho from Kanada were freed from the jaws of Muuse Marqaan: Muuse Muqayil, xarig ma'ahee wax kale ma yaqaano miyaa. Jaahil meeshuu u madax yahay ayaaba ka waalan. By the way, yaa ogaado this poorly informed girl was a die-hard secessionist before. Taloow does she still believe that cursed ideology? Holac Posted May 13, 2019 May 18th celebration is facing a lot of blowback this year. Expect Mr. Bihi's supporters in the Diaspora to up the ante just to prove everyone wrong, but in reality, many genuine Somalilanders are losing interest as they believe the "Somaliland" dream is slowly slipping away. If you asked the abused prisoners in Somaliland whether they are "still" secessionist, they will simply laugh at the silliness of your question.

Personality I never celebrated 18 May, 26 June, or any other day from the secular calendar for they mean nothing to me. However, Somaliland is not a dream but a reality millions of people are living right now. Is it an ideal reality or a bad one, one may ask. And the answer to this depends on each individual's experience in that political territory.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted May 14, 2019 18 may is the most important day in Somaliland it's the only right thing we did in 1991 redeclaration of indepenendence. Prof samatar wants 26 June to be bigger than 18 may it simply can't . The reason why the protectorate ended 26 June. But Somaliland as a nation was born after 1991 after the SNM won the war. Tallaabo na wu saxanyaay diiniyan labbada ciidood uun hala dabaaldego. Laakin 18 may wa inoo muhiim shacbiyan. As reer Somaliland from lowyacadde ila yoocade. Alpha Blondy Posted May 15, 2019 it's because of Ramadan there hasn't be a lot of fanfare around 18 May this year, not because of any other silly claim.
