Somaliland: Egyptian Delegation Visit The Port Of Berbera

Berbera,(Qaran news)-The Egyptian delegation led by deputy Foreign minister Hamdi Loza paid a visit the city of Berbera in order to see the new developments at the port.

The delegation accompanied by the Director of the Port Authority, senior officials from DP World Berbera and the Mayor of the city toured the new facilities and the ongoing work taking place at the new port. The delegation also visited some of the new facilities in the city of Berbera.

The delegation are in Somaliland to discuss areas of mutual interest including fishing and maritime issues. Egypt the home of the mighty Suez Canal is the hub of the sea faring traffic in the Red Sea leading to the Indian Ocean and the Straits of Hormuz.

The Egyptian delegation are also expected to visit the ancient cave paintings at Las Geel on their way back to Hargeisa.
