Tallaabo Posted May 1, 2019 One thing might lead to another and the situation in Eastern Somaliland could get very serious if not bring down the whole country. May Allah protect us, certainly Muuse Biixi hasn't learned anything from the lessons of history.
galbeedi Posted May 1, 2019 I agree. This issue should have been well guarded and supervised daily until the tribal clashes disappear. Government services, constant elderly contacts and other measures should have reduced the tension. Muuse is acting like someone who is paranoid. Reconciliation isn't in his book. He want to respond every criticism with the same outburst as the opposition. Hargeisa is a thousand kilometer away from the real problems.
Che -Guevara Posted May 1, 2019 Unlike Barre"s time, every Somali clan and sub-clan is armed to the teeth. It's better to tread lightly.

maakhiri1 Posted May 3, 2019 Those two Awdal guys were executed, should not have happened
galbeedi Posted May 3, 2019 Reports indicate that each one of them were shot more than twenty times while on the ground. It was an execution. I do not understand where the hate and contempt of these people are rooted.
Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted May 3, 2019 Maxaa loo ugaarsaday loona dilay ragaas? Aano qabiil?
gooni Posted May 5, 2019 Awdal waa gobolka kaliya oo dareen la'aan lagu seexdo dhulka soòmaalidu degto, waxaana ugu wacan aano la'aanta. Aanada ama aargoosigu waa dulum aad u wayn waxayna ku dhacdaa dad aan waxba galabsan masaafur war-moog iwm. Aragtidayda aabaaraha gaajada towfiiq la'aanta soomaalida ku habsatay waxaa ugu wacan arintaas dadka aan waxba galabsan layska laynayo. Carabta hadii labo nin is disho kii wax dilay way qisaasaan ayagoo ula jeeda inaysan fitno ka dhex abuurmin beelaha Dawaladahooduna waa qabiilo isu tagay siiba khaliijka. Waa ku ceeb in haday keenaan 59 diyo lacag u dhiganta inay qaataan sababtoo ah waxay meel ka dhac wayn ku noqonaysaa qabiilka diyada qaatay. Halka soomaalidu qayilaad loo dhan yahay laga helo. Qabiil markaad qaadanayso waa in la garanayo diintu uu haysto cadaalad samayntiisa dhaqankiisa iwm. Snm waligeed lama maqal lamana arag dad ay qisaas ku dishay. Dadka wax dila inta badan ma fogaadaan waa lasoo qabtaa sababtoo ah waxa kaliya oo lagu leeyahay waa diyo.
Tallaabo Posted May 6, 2019 I heard from my reliable sources (a family member ) that the curfew in Sanaag is rejected by parliament!! But the government has flooded the place with military personnel who are conducting an extensive stop and search of all the vehicles. The whole thing started when the now dead police officers arrested a prominent and quite wealthy drug dealer aka qaad dealer in Garadag. After noisy and disruptive protests by the immediate subclan members of the dealer, the officers decided to transfer him to a prison in Ceergaabo where the prisoner is said to have died of natural causes. Of course the dead prisoner's family were not convinced and decided to take matters into their own hands. Although recently some arrests were made, non of those detained people is held for suspicion of murder and the real suspects are said to have gone into the mountain hideouts. Saalax Posted May 6, 2019 The planned execution didn't happen in Sanaag but Sool somewhere between Oog and Yagoori called waxari Kaciday. So this is a excuse by Muse Bixi to increase tensions in the region.
Holac Posted May 6, 2019 Awdalites got slaughtered for nothing. The family of the deceased Khat dealer should have taken the matter with the Erigavo prison warden instead of murdering the officers who initially arrested the dealer. This makes no sense. They were a easy target. They couldn't fight other communities so they slaughtered two innocent Awdalites.
