Somaliland: President Muse Bihi On A Brief Visit To UAE

Dubai, (Qaran news)-The Somaliland President Muse Bihi is currently on a brief visit to the United Arab Emirates. The visit is expected to last a few days and will include discussion with Emirate officials on areas of mutual interest.

According to informed sources, President Muse Bihi will conclude agreements pertaining to the UAE military base in Berbera, which is almost completed and scheduled to be opened around the middle of this year. Other areas of discussion include the recently inaugurated Berbera Corridor and the continuing development of the Berbera port.

The President was accompanied by the Somaliland Foreign Minister, Prof. Yasin Mohamud Haji Hir “Faraton”, other senior officials.
