YoniZ Posted June 11, 2007 Jacylbaro, sxb nothing wrong with taking a part these projects. Building and running University is a very expensive business interms of human and financial resources, that why after all developing countries has only view universities. The point Im making here is, lets use our scarce resources in an effective way by concentrating on areas where a difference can be made. If for instance, a town like Bardhere with probably 20000 school age kids have only two or three functioning schools. Then its madness to think about university instead of building more schools and technical institutes if necessary. Think big at the sametime be realistic, thats our weak point after all. YoniZ Posted June 11, 2007 The problem lays with the ppl who are organising those projects have'nt got a clue what University is and its demands. When ever I see these projects I remember the meaning of Hadith when our Prophet SCW asked by Jibril dressed as a man, the signs of the Qiyama, one of those signs was : "That you will see the barefooted ones, the naked, the destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." So, if we dont have enough secondary schools why not build UNI.
