Jumatatu Posted February 6, 2005 A Somali refugee who stabbed his ex-wife's husband to death outside a school must serve at least 15 years of his life sentence, a judge has ruled. Ali Sayeed, 50, was earlier convicted of murdering Mustafa Sayeed outside Holte School in Lozells, Birmingham. The court heard Sayeed, of Park Avenue, Handsworth, believed his former wife had brought dishonour to him in the close-knit Somali community. Mr Justice Fulford said there could be no excuse for the violent slaying. The court heard when Sayeed saw his ex-wife with her new husband on the morning of the killing it brought the grievance to a head. I've heard of Turkish and Arab husbands killing their ex-wives and their husbands in jelous fits of rage, lakiin a Somali man??
