Somaliland: President Muse Bihi Abdi On Official Visit To UAE

The Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi and a high ranking delegation are currently on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The delegation arrived on Saturday morning in Abu Dhabi and were received with the protocol of the highest level.

The Somaliland delegation are expected to discuss with their UAE counterparts areas of mutual interest, including the concluding agreements on the United Arab Emirates Military base near Berbera, the proposed renovations of the Berbera airport into a civil and and military sectors and the on-going work on the Berbera port by the UAE’s DP World Group.

President Muse Bihi’s delegation includes the Somaliland Ministers for Energy & Natural Resources, Jama Mohamud Egal, Religion & Endowments, Sheikh Khalil Abdillahi Ahmed, Trade & Industry, Mohamud Hassan Sa’ad.

The delegation is also accompanied by the President’s press secretary, Mohamud Warsame Jama.
