nuune Posted August 31, 2008 Eedo or Aayo is the other woman your father is married to, and it is being said they are very mean to the kids of the Minweynta ayada ka horreesay. Normally, once the children become Rajo or their mother passed away, the father will bring the kids to his new wife, he doesn't have any other choice, hooyo cusub bey yeesheen caruurta, what he doesn't know is, the new wife would be reckless and kindles to the kids she supposed to take care and be a mother to them. Anyway, this happens alot in Somalia, I wouldn't say all Eedooyinka or Aaayooyinka are mean to the children of the diseased mother. It is being writtten, and songs have being made, specially one great Fannaan who happened to be in that situation when his mother died and he lived with his Eedo or Aayo, he was only 4 years old when his mother died, it was terrible, horrible experience he met, sometimes he could miss meals for several days, and sleep with starvation, while the father is away on his usual business not knowing the situation of his kids, in his mind, they got new mother, and that should be alright. Here is the song, with its lyrics, enjoy it, very sad song, don't blame me if tears came down from your eyes. eedaan la yaabee arxankeedu daranaa, Click to listen eedaan la yaabee arxankeedu daranaa islaamnimada guudnimo ma ilaalineysee ishay kugu gubtaayoo afkey kaala dirirtaa kuma saarto adhaxdoo ileen waxay tidhaahdaa alla qaadkan maxaa dhigay agteyda will haduu afar jiroo hooyadii waayaa aabe kuma ogaadee eedo kuma daryeeshee ulbay kula dhacdaa adoo oon ku hayooo itaalkaagu daran yahay oo ila xareed badan indhuhu ay u muuqdaan adin aad ku aadiyo awood aanad u heli karin markaad ooyso leylkii hoyaa kuu adeegtee kuu uur dabcaysee aamus kugu tidhaahdaa will haduu afar jiroo hooyadii waayaa aabe kuma ogaadee eedo kuma daryeeshee ulbay kula dhacdaa

nuune Posted September 1, 2008 Waxa laga sheegay wax sahlan ma ahan wallee. I have seen aayooyin kicking and boxing the kids, sometimes dhulka ku jiidayo, and starving them to death. Some of them are good, and take care the kids just like their own kids.
