Deeq A. Posted January 29, 2019 At least two people are reported to have been killed and five others wounded in a car bomb explosion in Mogadishu, the Somali capital on Tuesday morning. Mohamed Abdullahi Tuulah, the deputy Mogadishu mayor on the security and political affairs confirmed the casualties to the reporters, saying the incident is under probe. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast which occurred outside a petrol station in near Daljirka Dahson monument in downtown Mogadishu. Al Shabaab has in the past carried out such attacks in the capital as part of its fight against Somali government and the African Union forces [AMISOM] in the country.
