Nehanda Posted August 10, 2007 When built Somalia would look a thousand times much better than UAE. We have one of the best coastline and the weather is much more hospitable than UAE. Viva Somalia!
Khalaf Posted August 10, 2007 What will UAE do when the oil money drys up? Dumb cats....keep spending money on qaataar buildings and not creating jobs or building factories....UAE will crash as fast as it rose.
ElPunto Posted August 10, 2007 ^K - the Emirates have and are still continuing to diversify their economies. Dubai is a business and leisure hub. Something less than 10% of that emirates' economy is derived from oil. Inshallah Somalia will be like that and even better. The land has so much going for it - its people have been the letdown. Intelligent and public serviced minded members of the diaspora should lead the way. Unfortunately for the present, the only ones who go back, in the political arena at least, are kursi/lacag doon cats for whom the welfare cheques of the west have proved insufficient.
