Maf Kees Posted March 27, 2006 We often forget that kids are being used and abused till this day in our lawless country. The warlords throughout the country use kids back home as soldiers. They take all the innocence away from the child and even after that force them to maim and kill. They are expected to be bodyguards: protect a warlord whose own children are abroad with excellent health and education. The gun-toting cunug at the left is an armed militiamember of the RRA at an isbaaro near Baidoa. The stick-wielding cunug at the right is a Somaliland police officer. He's containing the crowd at a Hargeisa square. This shows you that this practise is prevalent throughout the country, from war-ravaged Baidoa to peaceful and secure Hargeisa.
