Dumb Criminals Caught on Tape - Ciyaal fadaro

A bunch of morons upload a video of themselves attacking pedestrians and bicyclists in the streets of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. These dummies identify themselves in the video and seem to be bragging about their criminal activities. The police of both cities are investigating and asking victims to come forward. The video was removed but fox9news posted it on their site.

YouTube video of Twin Cities assaults has police investigating

YouTube prank video features teens and young men harassing pedestrians, knocking over bicyclists.

By ABBY SIMONS, Star Tribune

A YouTube video of eight younger males terrorizing bicyclists, pedestrians and children in what appears to be Minneapolis and St. Paul has triggered an investigation by both cities' police departments.

Edited and set to music, the video shows the group of what appear to be teens or young men taking turns saying, "Watch this," before knocking down bicyclists and pedestrians and running away, laughing. Some of the pedestrians and a bicyclist appear to be older.

In the six-minute, 20 second video, entitled "Watch This T.V.," the perpetrators give full names and nicknames such as "Lil Stain," "Shark," and "Gun Play." Police wouldn't say whether they believe the names were real, but they say they've identified the perpetrators and are trying to track them down.

On the video, one of the attackers chases two young children who appear to be walking home from school and shoves one of them down a hill. Another throws something into the face of a convenience store cashier.

At least one incident appears to have occurred along the Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis, where the attackers jump out at a cyclist, punching at him with boxing gloves. Other incidents appear to have happened in St. Paul, including at the intersection of University and Lexington avenues.

The creator of the video, who posted it online Monday, describes it as "a group of Somali black males pulling pranks on people."

Authorities aren't laughing.

"It's disturbing to watch," said Sgt. Paul Schnell of the St. Paul police department. "Our first objective is that we want it to stop because we don't want somebody getting hurt." Schnell said the video also could lead to criminal charges.

Schnell said several concerned citizens e-mailed the video to police Tuesday morning.

"With absolute certainty there is a desire to talk to these people," Schnell said. "Whether criminal charges are brought will be dependent upon our ability to match the incident with actual reports by the victims."

Schnell said there does not yet appear to be any spate of reports matching the incidents, which police believe are recent.

Minneapolis police Sgt. Jesse Garcia also called the video "disturbing" and said the city's investigators are cross-checking it against reports of attacks. One Minneapolis incident, in addition to one on the Greenway, may have occurred near the light rail repair station below I-94.

Garcia compared the video to one shot in June, in which several young people followed and taunted a gay man as he walked home from the Minneapolis Gay Pride festival. That video was posted on YouTube, but police were unable to identify the taunters, Garcia said.

Though the most recent video has been removed, whoever posted it hinted that more videos were to come. The posting caused a backlash from commenters on the site.

"This video has been sent to the police...have fun with that guys, " one said.

"(These) fools let us Somalis down." another said.

This new breed of criminals today is really laughable. Yea, let's post our illegal activities on YT and help the cops in finding us. Such a good idea.

Yaa Rabi!! Illaahow ciyaalkeena sida u dhaan! This is one of the symptoms of watching the ghetto-lifestlye, mainstream shows that inspire kids to undertake all useless things.

I hope they learn a lesson from there.

It’s a shame that we have people like this in our society. Those young men have no respect for the elderly, authority or country. Waridka soo koriyey baa khaladka leh waxaan magalada ku soo deeystey.

oh wow ...

Ismahan I agree walaalo.Their parents are to blame. But, it has a lot to do with caruurta somaliyeed thinking that they are "dad madmadow" and I mean "dadka madmadow ee dalkan dagan" and taking the black culture. You would see the same pakistani kids about their age clinging to their culture...knowing who they are...where somali kids have "identity issues". You can note that from their slang dialect/ their clothing that they tend to choose to wear and how they carry themselves....thats my opinion and till we tell somalis kids "madow ma tihidin..ee orda dad iska dhiga oo umadiina dadka wacan ku dayda" we are not going anywhere.

my 2 cents.

salaam
