galbeedi Posted January 8, 2019 Agree. Damujadiid boys are preparing for the next contest. A local freind told last week Cali Ciise will not even get five votes. He said, you cannot just come in two weeks before the elections and contest. his own Garaad guys didn’t even vote for him.

Duufaan Posted January 8, 2019 Faysal Waraabe claims he knows this guy and likes this new Deni too. So, Waraabe is connected with Damal-jadiid. The question is how long it will take Waraabe to dislike this guy.

Cali Ciise was just used to legitimize Puntland election to look more open to everyone and he was part of the campaign to get rid of Gaas. It has been a leadership disaster for the SSC community and continues to be that way. Instead of working SSC to become the next new state with help of current Somali government, he chose to show up Garoowe last minute. Deni has a big problem what to do with SSC region. He has to come to a solution soon rather later. Putland leadership has so far refused to let SSC region became a new state but normally reer bari are ok with that idea. It is maybe opening here with Deni leadership.

Its the success of the European psychological warfare. The world is also more interconnected now than past centuries where the British Empire or French could only use existing structures of Clan elders or leaders. Now they can use any Farax and make a coup. The nomad after a century of struggle have lost and have lost confidence on himself or his tribe. He is still a nomad, but trying to join the world of face book and normally he loses since he is working outside his culture, tradition, way of thinking, social structure and sometimes even faith. The problem with the D-block is that they all assume the civil war ended, because no sane minded would ever entertain himself into thinking SSC state will be created while HAG and SNM are breathing and kicking, the balance of power are set 2 state for HAG and 2 for D-block while the Northern Territories (from the borders from Puntland upto Djibouti) is wholly bestowed to the Somaliland by right of regional recognition As for Farmaajo well i will let his past 2 years do the talking of how useless and inapt he was, and thats how the HAG like their guests to be. Dalmar1 Posted January 8, 2019 Let me drop an hint to those indulging for an Northern D-Block state in Somaliland, last Month there was a big Irir Conference in Djibouti headed by Ismacil Guelleh, it was a shir where everyone who is somebody attended, the agreed agenda was to recognize a certain State, so that there will be a 3 Nations to counter the nuisance of certain community. No Mogadishu, nor Hargeisa and nor Djibouti will ever allow such an catastrophe to occur.

Unlike the M00ryns from Galkaio, Deni hails from the traditional leaders of Puntland, naturally the cool heads. Besides, two of the man backers of Deni, Ciise Dhoolawaa and owner of Hargeisa's Royale Hotel have very good close relations with Somaliland. I am expecting, this close relations will translate into a more cordial relationship with Deni. Ciise Dhoolawaa, Ex-Petroleum minister, is expected to be very influential in Deni's Gov't. Old_Observer Posted January 8, 2019 Puntland is unique. I know everyone is unique in their own ways, but Puntland has "deep state". Even contradicting presidents cannot make drastic changes to the state. Even late Yey, Ade Musse, Farole...who seemed larger than the state maintained almost the same thing when they became presidents. Its old enough to have "deep state" that doesn't change much. Avoid war by all means, send part timers to Mugadishu and continue fast economic development.
