KEYNAN22 Posted May 22, 2006 Just look at Lebanon, the country was in total destruction and shambles after the civil war. since 1991 they have decided to reimpose Beiruts former glory, oh man they have succeded. Once again Beirut has become the banking district and Paris of middle east. Enjoy!

Nephissa Posted May 23, 2006 Wacdaraha: Nice houses you got there! And don't mind these haters, clearly they'r not from Gareewe. But still, you can't top the house I had in Xamar, not even close.
KEYNAN22 Posted May 23, 2006 Emperor this pic below can't possibly be Somalia, back in the days, let alone contemporary somalia because the only city that remotly looked like this was moqdishu, and we all know moqdishu has no mountains as we can see in the background of this pic. how many of those buildings were build with white man's money? What do you mean "white mans money"? Ivory coast is very rich in natural resources, infact its really strange and bizzare that the whole of Africa by now does not have such cities as i posted above, considering all the wealth beneath the soil of the continent. If this is a serious vision and project, then mashallah!
THE EMPEROR Posted May 23, 2006 sure sure your probably one of those peeps who thinks somalia is only mudhuts go check the link i always find it funny how western somalis always say that they know the whole of somalia that's like me saying i know every corner and block of the western country i've been living in the last 15 yrs that's impossible Mountains near Merca, southwest of Mogadishu Courtesy Hiram A.Ruiz Mountains west of Mogadishu, midway toward Luuq Courtesy Hiram A. Ruiz and 90% of africa receives aid from the west somalia doesn't
-Lily- Posted May 23, 2006 Development isn't just beatiful sky scrapers, it's elimanting poverty, education masses and taking care of the environment. I can't believe some of you are seriously comparing these cities to Somalia. Sudan has new found oil wealth, but executing men and maiming and raping women in one side of the country and this on the other. Sure, they are 'developed'.
