N.O.R.F Posted February 12, 2007 I remember watching an England game. England won. We were all happy. England fans were celebrating on the streets and we did not look English. To cut a long story short, after a few bloody knuckles and alxamdullilah no harm onto us (you should have seen the other lot) I realised that this is not my country. Ms DD Posted February 12, 2007 Salaam Has anyone felt right at home after they returned to Somalia? There were days that i felt i was amongst my people and there were days that the people there made me feel a foriegner. It is like that those who were born in the West (or Arab regions) or brought up here a new breed with no country to call home.

If one stays anywhere for a number of years (5-10), one would feel right at home. Home is familiarity; not where you were born at.
