Somali President and PM condole demise of two lawmakers

Somali president, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and his PM, Hassan Ali Khaire condoled over the sudden death of a member of the country’s Federal parliament on Sunday.

Ahmed Mayow Abdulle, popularly known as [Colonel Rush] passed away on Sunday afternoon after a heart attack, according to his colleagues in the national assembly.

“On behalf of myself and the nation, I send my deepest condolences to the people of Somalia in general and in particular the families of Ahmed Mayow Abdulle [Colonel Rush] a member of the House of the People and Khaire Mohamed Ahmed, a Southwest state MP who died in Mogadishu,” said Somali president.

For his part, Somali PM Hassan Ali Khaire condoled over the demise of Colonel Rush, whom he described him a valuable person who served for the cause of Somalia at various situations for over several decades.
