Che -Guevara Posted December 25, 2018 Who is Kumsa Diriba? On December 19th, 2018, the Ethiopian National Defense Force began a mass deployment of its forces across western Oromia state (mainly the 4 Wallaga zones and northern areas of Shawa zone). Eyewitnesses state that the military is digging encampments in the middle of cities and hauling in sand bags for fortification. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted December 25, 2018 Abiye Axmed is removing olf from those area I think this is very sad for those oromo nationalist. Abiye is more amxara than oromo.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted December 26, 2018 Yes Oodweyne thats his strategy he used their grievances and struggle and uprise to gain allot of support as a reformer . But once he gains all the support of all the Ethiopian groups May they be the amxara groups in the north and others who oppose him or have other political ideology such as the olf of abdisa. He released allot of political prisoners from the amhara group ginbot7 group EPPF group and others. But I am sure the gallas will break in 2 in the near future.
Old_Observer Posted December 30, 2018 This will be Abiy weakness. His allies and main support from Amxara and Central are not accepted outside of their areas. Ginbot 7 actually is most unacceptable group to the Oromo. Its also very funny that all the organizations that were in Eritrea have been sorted out in such short order and time. Only Ginbot 7 and Amxara group are still friends with Eritrea and Abiy. The rest have been used and thrown already like ONLF, OLF and others.
Che -Guevara Posted December 30, 2018 Abiy might have played his hand this time. He is losing control outside major cities.

Old_Observer Posted January 2, 2019 Ethiopia seems to be one country where the question of its formation and also if it should continue is legitimate. Being unstable, fractured, famine, starvation, civil wars...are all related to its formation. Nobody has been helped by western and eastern countries as much or even one percent of Ethiopia, yet still poor, still backward and always teetering on break up.
