Deeq A. Posted October 30, 2018 MOGADISHU (Caasimada Online)—At least six civilian people have been killed by unknown gunmen on Tuesday near Somali capital Mogadishu. The victims were shot and killed after gunmen waylaid a vehicle in which they were travelling at Lafole area near Mogadishu, a witness told Caasimada Online. The killers reportedly escaped from the crime scene uncaught. Caasimada Online learned that Tuesday’s killing links to long-standing vendetta between the two sub-clans. He says three people from same family members were among the victims. The dead bodies were taken back into Afgoye town, some 30km south of Somali capital Mogadishu. Somali has been without a central authority since the overthrow of the late ruler Mohamed Siyad Barre in 1991 when the country plunged into chaos and lawlessness.
