londoners, your 2012 Olympic Stadium

It would be great to work on this as much as it would be a huge headache. Arsenal Stadium contractors (Sir Robert McAlpine) have been give the job.

Work has already begun on the Olympic Park site in Stratford

London 2012 boss Sebastian Coe said work on the stadium would begin in April 2008, three months ahead of schedule

 

The man on the left won Olympic gold in 1984 and went to my old school.

The biggest difference to previous Olympic stadia concerns the seating - 55,000 seats will be 'demountable' or temporary

The main feature of the stadium design is the sunken bowl, which is designed to bring spectators close to the action

London 2012 officials are looking for a tenant to occupy the stadium once the Olympics and Paralympics are over

But a tie-up with a major football team such as West Ham has already been ruled out by London mayor Ken Livingstone

 

Looks like the council tax wll be going up in East London :confused:
