Som@li Posted August 6, 2009 THEY have queued for days to get their hands on a dream ticket Down Under. Today the hours under canvas braving the wind and rain could all be worth it for the lucky few who will bag a flight to Australia for just £10. Dozens of people were this morning lining up outside a Southampton travel shop hoping to win one of just 150 discounted flights being given out nationwide on a first come first served basis. The promotion has seen a mini-campsite established just yards from the STA Travel shop with tents pitched on a green outside the Civic Centre. £10 for ticket and working visa. Som@li Posted August 6, 2009 The 12-month working holiday visa is offered as part of a reciprocal arrangement between the UK and Australia. Temporary work permit holders often help to fill skills shortages in seasonal industries such as agriculture and tourism.
Baluug Posted August 6, 2009 Are these work visas available in Canada too? You know, just in case this strike doesn't work out and I feel like a change of scenery....
