Baluug Posted August 14, 2006 Went and saw K'Naan on Sunday at Prince's Island Park in downtown Calgary as part of Afrikadey. They had all kinds of African artists, from Nigeria to South Africa and Somalia(guess who that was?) I took the ex-wife's niece, we both had a good time, as did all the other people, who were mostly white :eek: Quite a few Somalis gettin' down too. K'Naan rocked the show!! Baluug Posted August 14, 2006 And finally, the legend himself!! As you can see, he's standing beside K'Naan. I got to chat a little bit with him after the show. He was very quiet and soft-spoken, the complete opposite of him onstage. I didn't get to talk for long, cuz these 2 Ethiopian chicks were trying to get all over him. So if you're ever in Calgary and you see these 2 girls, slap 'em around a little bit for me just kidding. But it was definitely a good show, and definitely worth the $15 ticket!!
