I agree, the Democrats have a deeper ties , yet they know how to manipulate public opinion. 

On the issue of oil imports the Americans will have enough oil for their consumption by 2020. Even some energy analysts say that they could be even net oil exporter by then. Trump has allowed oil drilling and shell gas pumping every where including Alaska wild refugee. He relaxed environmental regulations to energize the oil industry. $80–90 dollars per barrel could be acceptable to everyone.

Remember, it was the oil boom that brought tens of thousands of Somalis to Alberta, Canada. Thousands of our people work in the oil industry and we need the prices to stay up. 

Furthermore, there is no need for Iran oil. If this stupid environmental bandwagon pushed on nations like Canada is thrown out , we good old Canada can pump few more million barrels and you wouldn’t need  Iran or anyone else. 

Our prime minister Trudeau is a good man , but he has to dump these job killing environmental regulations or he will be thrown out of office next year.

Any way, the Turks had got both Trump and the Saudis by nose. Who knows, when Turkey says that they got the audio and the video of the incident, they might be bluffing. If it is true and the video is released , they young king and his throne will be history. I hope they got their lesson in the hard and must play the ball within the prescribed rules.

The intelligence news is that Trump had to intervene to save Salman and the Saudis . Today, the Izmir court in Turkey had released the American pastor Andrew Brunson after convicting him three years and few months . According to Daily Sabah , he will not serve any jail time and he will be credited by time served already.

This will save both for Erdogan who refused to release him without the decision of the Turkish judiciary  which is independent just like the Americans. 

It seems the relationship between Turkey and America had to be resorted as before , and America and Trump must understand that  Turkey is the most important player in the region. Now the Saudis and Trump owe one for the Turks and that poor journalist will be  just like Malesia Airline MH370 which disappeared from the face of earth.

By the way that pastor, Mr. Brunson had involved a lot of shady business including aiding the 2016 coup and creating a Kurds only church in Turkey. The reason vice president Mike Pence and others were insisting on his release is more than election or his home state.

If you follow the evangelical media and their  literature,  the future coming of Issa (AS) Jesus and the so called rapture and Armageddon are some how connected to Turkey according to their biblical literature or those interpreted by these pastors. I used to work with an evangelical nut case who kept talking about the rise of Turkey or how Turkey would be taking over the middle east  to fill full a biblical prophecy before the Armageddon.

So, these hysterical fear of Sultan Erdogan and Turkey is not just the talk of western media but a theological issue for the evangelicals. That is why it was important for Turkey to release  this super priest whose constituents have speed dial to the white house.

As I said, Turkey had passed almost the threshold to control by others, although it still needs some work on the financial side. Finally they following other industrial nation who buy and sell real state with their local currency. Here in Canada, you could barely see an American dollar in local markets.

Also, the volatile middle east is transferring their assets not to Swisserland or New York but to Istanbul.

There is a new report from a Turkish columnist who speculated that at the end the Saudis might hand over the 15 murder squad and the counsel general to the Turkish authorities.

Some years ago Khadafi handed some intelligence officers for the Lockerbie bombing. After a trial some of them might be more guilty than others.

Mohamed Bin Salman is already venerable , and this case might bring him down if doesn't fix quickly.

They have to find a why, Saudi Ambassador went to Riyad to find what to say, a way out, if they keep denying, Turkey will release the video. Trump will not do much but Dem and Republics are getting close to unite as well as Eu countries.

The thing is Jamal knew what they could do but he miscalculated the new madness.
