Somali FM meets with France envoy in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (Caasimada Online) The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ahmed Isse Awad, has received a copy of the credentials of the new Ambassador of France to Somalia.

Mr. Awad welcomed France Ambassador Aline Kuster-Menager at his office in Mogadishu, discussing diplomatic relations between Somalia and France.

He hoped that Aline Kuster-Menager will contribute with her activities to the development of Somali-French relations.

French Ambassador Aline Kuster-Menager expressed her gratitude for Somali FM’s welcome and good wishes, stressing that she would exert maximum efforts to raise the Somali-French friendly relations to a qualitatively new level.

The two sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation between the Somalia and France and means of enhancing them to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
