General Duke Posted October 4, 2008 My favorite author of late is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I have read most of his works and I have enjoyed them all. I also like Chinua Achebe and Fyodor Dostoevsky. A few good books, though I tend to read more historical and non fiction materials, these are just some that came to mind. 1. One Hundred Years of Solitude By Gabriel Garcia Marquez 2. Animal Farm & 1984 [together] by George Orwell 3. Notes from Underground By Fyodor Dostoevsky. 4. Things Fall Apart by :Chinua Chebe Hey where can one get those Somali romantic novels mentioned above. Anyone?
