General Duke Posted November 9, 2009 For the many imposter’s shame on you, let me be clear Gen Duke has yet to use the chatroom in SOL, and does not plan to use it anytime in the near future. Will keep people updated to when the Gen, decides to enter the room, thus any correspondence should be made through the traditional means. Thank you. General Duke Posted November 9, 2009 ^^^One became quite concerned with a number of people who have asked me if I was in the room or if there was an imposter. It seems there were imposters.
Libaax-Sankataabte Posted November 9, 2009 Quite a few nomads have complained about someone else using their name in the chat room. It has become a trend now. Two way to verify someone's identity in the chat room. 1. Public Ask the chatter politely to announce himself on the forum's chat thread if he/she is truly the person whose username is being used. 2. Private Ask the chatter to send you a private message through the forum if he/she wants to stay anonymous to everyone else. That is how things were done in the past. It works!! Castro Posted November 9, 2009 Originally posted by Libaax-Sankataabte: Quite a few nomads have complained about someone else using their name in the chat room. It has become a trend now. Imitation is the greatest flattery. I don't care who tries to use my nick in a chat-room or on the street. The only way to know if you're chatting with the real Castro is if I try to look under your skirt. That's your only proof.
Valenteenah. Posted November 9, 2009 ^^ LoL. Che, Have you not noticed the full stop after my name? Someone already stole the original when I changed to B recently. This forum is full of thieves.
Paragon Posted November 9, 2009 The chat is no use. I went in there last night and i got interrogated, apparently because they were 4 Paragons before I, the real one. It's a headache.

Valenteenah. Posted November 9, 2009 LST, bal adba. There's a black market in usernames out there. I'm willing to buy back mine, in any case. Che, don't change it if you want to get it back minus the full stop. LoL @ Paragon. Always imitated, never bettered, right?
