President Farmajo calls to invest Somalia

MOGADISHU (Caasimada Online) -Somalia’s President says all investors could benefit great investment opportunities of his country’s untapped resources and human capital

Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed known as ‘Farmajo’ said tremendous progress made by his government so far in achieving peace, security, stability and development in Somalia.

He called on heads of states to make investiments, adding that his country is committed to welcome all investors.

Speaking at FOCAC in Beijing, he congratulated China’s President Xi Jinping on his exemplary reforms record and government’s policies in leading China towards a new greater progress.

“Africa and Somalia can learn much from Chinese successes and this can be achieved “through platforms such as FOCAC which promotes knowledge and experience”, he said.

President Farmajo reiterated the tremendous progress made by his government so far in achieving peace, security, stability and development in Somalia. 

He also welcomed the greater value to the Belt and Road Initiative

“Somalia supports the adoption of the joint declaration on “Building a Closer Community with a shared future between China and Africa” and the Beijing Action Plan of FOCAC”, he noted.

Somali President concluded his speech by reminding heads of states the importance of partnership and cooperation for achieving the common goals of progress and prosperity of both Africa and China.
