Posted September 3, 2018 MOGADISHU (Caasimada Online) – Somali security forces have arrested an Al-Shabaab operative in Mogadishu, a day after suicide attack killed six people, including two children. Somalia’s Intelligence Agency said its soldiers detained an operative, who was allegedly planning to carry out suicide explosion in the capital. On Sunday, six people were killed and 14 others injured in suicide bomb attack on local government office in the Somali capital Mogadishu. The attack was claimed by Al Shabaab. The group has been waging insurgency in Somalia for more than 10 years. However, Al-Shabaab, which once controlled much of Somali capital Mogadishu in 2011, wants topple the weak-western backed government of Somalia.
