Coloow Posted April 4, 2010 Of course, the people of Garissa are very good somalis. Because it is the capital city of the province there is bound to be more jaajus than other place. If somalia rises, my guess is that Mandera and Buulo xaawo will be one major town. Mandera is very impressive and has grown since the 90s. Mandera town and some parts of Bulo Mpya look like Muqdisho in the 80s; Datchas and villas. A small plot in Busley costs more than a fortune. The area new the border iska daa The growth of both Mandera and Garissa is the result of the civil war in Somalia. Wajir on the other hand is behind in terms of the development. Maybe it is because it is not a border town. Haatu, waa runtaa. The two isbaaros of the town are horrible places. Many times we were forced to march on the river. Are they building a road between Garissa and Wajir because there is alot of activities going on.
