Posted August 31, 2018 MOGADISHU (Caasimada Online) – Two soldiers have been killed and two others injured in a roadside explosion in south of Somali capital Mogadishu The explosion hit military vehicle carrying soldiers near Afgoye town, leaving 2 soldiers on board, a witness said. He says a female service member had been among the victims. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the Friday’s explosion, but such attacks are often carried out by Al Shabaab. The group has been waging insurgency more than 10 years in Somalia. Al-Shabaab, which once controlled Mogadishu capital in 2011, wants to tople the weak-western backed government of Somalia.
