Somali police foil suicide attack in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (Caasimada Online) – Somali police soldiers have foiled a suicide bomb attempt at National University campus in the capital of Mogadishu.

Police captain, Hussein Mohamed said car with filled with explosives parked outside the national university campus in the capital.

He says bomb disposal experts had defused the bomb explosives.

“Our police soldiers discovered a car laden with explosives parked near National University campus”, he said.

Somali security forces launched security operation to hunt down suspected Al Shabaab members in the capital of Mogadishu.

No arrests have been reported.

Mogadishu has been witnessed deadly suicide explosion claimed by Al Shabaab for the past months.

The group also carried out similar attacks on neighboring countries.
