Deeq A. Posted August 23, 2018 MOGADISHU (Caasimada Online) – Two people have been shot and killed by unknown gunmen in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu. The victims, whose names have been released as Farah and Saney were gunned down by men armed with pistols in Dharkenlei area in the capital, according to a witness. He says the victims were brothers, adding that one of them was a government soldier. It is unclear who carried out the assassination. No group has claimed the responsibility for the killing in the capital. But, such killing are often carried out by Al Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab and Islamic State groups. Mogadishu has been witnessed orchestrated assassinations and suicide bombings, which left dozens of people dead, as some those attacks were claimed by Al-Shabaab group based in Somalia.
