nuune Posted June 28, 2009 SANA'A, June 28 (Saba) - Yemen and Somalia signed on Sunday on executive program to develop the educational cooperation relations between the two countries for the next three years. Under the program, signed by Minister of Education Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi and his Somali counterpart Abdullah Ahmed Sheikh, Yemen's Education Ministry will facilitate the process of enrolling Somali students in Yemeni schools in coordination with the Somali Embassy in Sana'a. The program also includes the bringing Somali teachers as required and providing the technical and financial support in composing curricula in addition to printing th4em in Yemen. The program includes annual training for 15 Somali educational leaders in Yemen during the period October – December 2009.
