Cold Weather

Well, winter has arrived here in Canada. It got down to around -20C last night and with the wind, it felt more like -30. And when I woke up this morning there was a nice thick blanket of snow. :mad: :mad: :mad: I hate snow, and I hate winter.

 

That being said, what's the coldest you've ever experienced? Mine is -47 degrees Celsius, when I lived in northern Alberta as a child. Not only did I still have to go to school that day(I was 9 or 10), but I also had to walk!! :mad:

I love snow, but me and rain are not the best of friends. Of course in London, It always rains, and hardly ever snows! :rolleyes: Just my luck eh!

I think people complain too much.Here is solution,move to Panama,and should feel right at home with the Yank retirees.And there is even sizable Muslim community.

In the summer we complain about the very hot wheather, in the winter we complain about the cold and snow...Wah...

 

I like winter better than summer, specially Dec/Jan, when everyone is just happy happy happy...In the winter, I can atleast bundle up...Yaa is qaawinkaro summerka, hada waa la iska duqoobee...lol...The coldest it gets here I think is about -30...Today is a 2 though...I love when it snows overnight...It is just nice and heavenly in the morning...As long as I don't have to walk in the snow, I am good to go...

If you like snow, there is plenty in Minnesota. Especially in march and late Febuary.

Minnesota is lovely both in the summer and winter. During summer time you can have picnic by one of the 10,000 lakes in the state, and in the winter, you can set up ice rink in one of them and skate around for few hours. It's really good excercise. It makes your legs strong and releases the stress endured from school, work or whatever.

I am looking forward to snow and bad whether days actually. Just to cozy up with warm blanket and hot chocolate against the window while everyone else goes through the blizzard en route to work

Finally, I can work from home. Yeeey me
